Ann Masters

about ann

Ann started training dogs because a lot of people (particularly those with dogs), kept asking her to. After enough people asked, she finally got the hint and realized it was a great idea. A week later, she started taking formal courses in the field, eventually earning a degree from Los Angeles-based Animal Behavioral College, which offers extensive academic, theoretical and hands-on training. She continues to further her education, and is particularly interested in rehabilitating dogs with serious behavioral and adjustment issues.

Currently, Ann teaches dogs and their owners basic obedience, behavior management and handling skills. She also helps resolve problems like barking, jumping, separation anxiety, nipping and poor grammar (okay, she made up that last one). She focuses on positive training methods and helps owners and their dogs develop a balanced, happy relationship. In addition to private instruction, Ann also provides volunteer training services for local rescue groups.
